Our Story
The Stowe Ski and Ride -- Women In Motion or WIM program ended in 2008 leaving a huge hole in the women’s ski community. A women-centered active and supportive group of women ─ who had participated in the WIM annual one-week event ─ had forged bonds that they did not want to see end. WIM refugees were looking for something sustainable to fill this void. So in 2013....

Our Mission
"To promote women-centered activities in a supportive environment. To educate and increase participation of women of all ages to try, enjoy and safely compete in winter sports and other recreational activities.”
As a 501(c) (3) non-profit, WoW will raise funds to provide scholarships for girls in financial need 7th & 8th graders from Mount Mansfield Ski Club and Academy who are ski racers; and to develop and support winter sports and other recreational and civic activities for women of all ages.”
